Leadership Speaker Series -  “SEA Response: What does the current and post-COVID-19 world mean for startups in Southeast Asia” featuring an open Q&A session with our prominent speakers; Mr. Bilahari Kausikan and Mr. Chng Kai Fong, along with participation from Mr. Pandu Sjahrir, Founding Partner of ACV & Managing Partner of Indies Capital. Mr. Bilahari Kausikan serves as a Chairman of the Middle East Institute, an autonomous institute of the National University of Singapore. Previously, he has spent 37 years in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore, where he had a variety of appointments including but not limited to be the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry, Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and the Ambassador to the Russian Federation. Meanwhile, Mr. Chng Kai Fong is the Managing Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board, a government agency that plans and executes strategies to enhance Singapore’s position as a global center for business, innovation, and talent. The session provides valuable insights on the global market implication of COVID-19, impact on the foreign capital inflow, and how enterprises in Southeast Asia cope with the current condition.
