Hilarious and educational, an unbeatable combination
I'm not sure why I hadn't tried this podcast before, I guess I thought it was just another skeptic podcast. It is not! Unlike other skeptic podcasts it is in the form of a British-style celebrity quiz show. Questions about skeptic topics or news items are asked of several panelists. Much sarcasm, joking and punning then results. American audiences might compare it to a show like NPR's "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me". Something like this could be dreadful with the wrong people involved, but the hosts manages to choose excellent panelists from the British skeptic groups and satirical web sites such as Rich Smith from NewsArse. American guests include Brian Thompson of Amateur Scientist and George Hrab of Geologic Podcast. These are all very funny people, and its great to hear them get a chance to riff on news items of interest to skeptics. This is definitely a British podcast, so occasionally the show includes news and jokes that might seem alien to Americans. But I'm American and this definitely did not prevent me from enjoying the show. As long as you are a skeptic and have a sense of humor, you will enjoy this show! I just wish they did it a bit more often.

Yet another podcastorial gift from the banks of the River Mersey and its prolific skeptical community. As info-packed as the Daily Mail itself, but with twice the laughs.
