Their favorite movies are trite and irrelevant . . .
Bless their hearts, I think that these two are trying to do their best but their best efforts are hollow platitudes, inane and impertinent blather (which they think is clever repartee), and remedial career counseling. At best this podcast is a weekly advertisement for their professional services. At worst it is the equivalent of a cheap self-help book for people who have not had their first job or who have had no more experience than an entry-level position. Further, the glaring omission of employment discrimination based race, gender, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity is shocking and an embarrassing failure. Employment discrimination impacts every facet of your job and career—hiring, salary, performance evaluations, promotions, firing, reputation, et al. In the real world, especially today, this is the most important issue facing people in the workforce, trying to advance in the workforce, or break into the workforce.
