Oklahoma State has dubbed the 2023-24 school year as the Year of the Cowboy, to honor the life and legacy of Frank Eaton. Eaton is the real life cowboy who inspired Pistol Pete - the mascot OSU fans know and love. In this episode of the Inside OSU Podcast, Meghan Robinson and First Cowboy Darren Shrum sit down with the two students who are currently serving as our mascot.  Pistol Pete 95 Bryce Coon and Pistol Pete 96 Caden Schaufele. They discuss what Frank Eaton means to the university, why the decided to audition and what they hope for the next 100 years.
