Overproduced cringy schlock
Opening the show with the first person narrative of a man completing suicide without any prior warning is UNBELIEVABLY harmful. Making up this real man’s thoughts, feelings, and hallucinations as he died is absolutely disrespectful to him and his loved ones. Disgusting. After that, the cringy phone call reenactment, and overdone sound effects, I turned it off after 10 minutes. Honestly at this point, after so many terrible overproduced podcasts, I really should just avoid anything with the Wondery name attached.

I’m so impressed with this podcast! Filled with information about the scariest movie ever made (in my opinion), this pod cast tells the story behind the story and its just as eerie and interesting as the film!

I was very excited when I heard about this podcast but I was quickly turned off by the overproduction and overacting. It's a great story, it doesn't need all that.Read full review »

Informative and creepy. Perfect combo.
