Rabbi Averick
I love your podcasts and hopefully envisage a mounting growth of support from scientists abandoning the sinking Darwin ship. When Averick gave his thoughts on the mind body problem how the mind is beyond or above the brain with comments on feelings, I thought on C S Lewis’s essay titled “Transposition”. Lewis gives examples how feelings are richer or higher than physical phenomena and the mind is higher than feelings. One of the examples he gives is the same physical phenomenon accompanies seasickness, worrying and falling in love, that is a nauseating fluttering of the stomach, indicating feelings being richer than physical. He gives many other examples of how to tackle the mind body problem.
