Outstanding
I don’t really have the words to describe how this feels like a homecoming to me. I am Zimbabwean, high school in the UK, then spent most of my life in California and now living in Switzerland. I’ve had to assimilate many times to fit somewhat into each new culture. By becoming multicultural, I’m at home everywhere but have lost a sense of my home and belonging there. Listening to this podcast, I went through Tara’s journey asking about belonging and she found it in a full circle kinda way. The significance of telling these stories for us by us…I can’t tell you because I don’t have the words. This podcast tells us about the (our) past but it is so very fresh and modern. Tara’s voice is easy to listen to. I’m curious about the story of how and when she lived in Zim…tell us please! 😊 — Tatenda 🙏🏾
