Poignant, engaging, fascinating
I am a 53-year-old white woman who has never dived before — but this podcast makes me want to a) get my certification and b) hang out with Tara Roberts. She’s so honest and funny and *real* about her qualms about engaging with her history at a deeper (!) level. I love hearing the encouragement of her friends and her mom. And I’d listen to Lonnie Bunch discuss why history matters any day or the year. Highly recommended for Black History Month and beyond. (I’ll be sharing the link with my son’s middle school teacher, so thanks for those resources.)
