Question: In your opinion do you still think it is still wise to participate in an employers ESPP program if they have a 1 year post-vest holding period. Example: offering period Jan 1 2022 and purchase price is in 6 months June 1 2022 but have to wait 1 year (June 1 2023) to sell the shares due to a mandatory post-vest holding period.
In this example 15% discount applied to the lower price of the offering or purchase date.”
