What did you guys do with your funds once you realized we were entering this particular bear market?
I’ve been listening since mid covid and before we entered this bear market so luckily I was able to sell off a lot of my growth stocks and buy commodities and value positions. Mostly ones mentioned on this show so I appreciate you guys saving me from taking a huge L. However even after doing that my accounts are still down substantially.
I was wondering if you guys sold off a portion of your stocks and held them as USD while waiting for the market to correct? Do you guys ever hold just liquid USD while markets correct then jump back in when you know for certain markets are crashing. Or do you just strategically transfer funds from one stock to another and let the market go where it goes and just make sure you have your funds in the most favorable positions based on current circumstances. I know taking your funds out and buying back in is like “ timing the market” and you aren’t supposed to do that but sometimes it just seems so clear the market will fall … was wondering if this is EVER a good strategy and if you used is before this crash.”
