Description
Curtis McGrath is one hell of a guy. On the fourth day of a five day clearance patrol in the barren hills of Afghanistan, Sapper Curtis McGrath stepped on a landmine. It exploded directly underneath him – blowing his legs off and leaving him critically wounded. In the minutes afterwards, Curtis managed to instruct his fellow patrol members how to perform first aid before he was airlifted to safety, saving his life. From that moment on a ‘new world’ as he calls it began. His achievements to date and ability to continue to live life to the fullest is nothing short of amazing. Curtis joins Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli for the final episode of the podcast and shares his incredible story from 2012, and how it has changed his life since.
