“I’ve been a Bucs fan my whole life but haven’t lived in Tampa for almost 20 years. I’ve had to put up with living in Chicago Bear territory, Carolina Panther country, in Alaska where they love the Seahawks and now I live in Nashville. It’s not easy being an out of state fan but Joebucsfan makes it easier. I’m a fan of their unique insight and style and having grown up in Tampa I was obviously familiar with Ira Kaufman. Needless to say I was thrilled to stumble across this podcast. I’m a typical out-of-state Bucs fan thirsty for good content so I never miss an episode. Their banter alone is reason enough to tune in but their insight and Bucs knowledge makes this a cant-miss. Steve and Lee are great, Ira is the sage of Tampa sports and the trifecta makes for one of the best (if not the best) Bucs podcasts around.
My only complaint would be all the time spent talking about sponsors. I get that it’s important and they need recognition but I just listened to a 22 minute podcast that started with a 4 minute rant about different sponsors, it’s a bit much sometimes. Love the pod but want more football and less pimping. Or if you do have to pimp that much then make the rest of the pod a bit longer ;)”
