Description
Hello and welcome back to the Irish Tennis Updates Podcast. This week I’ve been chatting to Wesley O’Brien, an Irish tennis coach. Wesley is the founder of Hit and Hope Tennis and has visited various refugee camps around Europe, running tennis sessions and making the sport available to so many people who would otherwise not have access to it. Back home in Ireland, Wesley is involved with the Enjoy Tennis programme and blind tennis in particular, working with the Irish team at the 2018 blind tennis World Championships. We talk about all of this and more. Listen to find out how Wesley got started with these projects and about some of the experiences he’s had. This is a very inspirational episode and it’s brilliant to hear about this work. If you enjoy this episode, please subscribe to the show and leave a comment on iTunes.
