Appalled
Presenting an anti-Zionist as the ‘Jewish perspective’ is like presenting a woman in 1902 who didn’t believe women should have the right to vote as the ‘women’s perspective’. They did exist, but they were few and far between and just simply wrong. What do you think think Zionism is, Abbie? It’s the belief that Jewish people have a right to self-determination in their ancestral homeland. That’s it! It doesn’t mean colonialism. It doesn’t mean apartheid. And it certainly doesn’t mean genocide. Just as most women are ‘feminists’ (whether they define themselves that way or not) because they believe in equal rights for women, most Jews are Zionists because they believe Israel has a right to exist. The basic factual inaccuracies about the region and its people and the blind devotion to an ideology that’s the polar opposite of literally everything ‘progressive’ people stand for makes absolutely no sense - unless it all just boils down to antisemitism. Are you an antisemite, Abbie? If not, I want to direct you to just three resources (out of hundreds I could recommend). You can watch, listen and read in your own time. You don’t even need to tell anyone. Just please, for yourself and the greater good, learn something! With your level of influence, you have a duty to be more aware of what you’re putting out into the world. Please note all three are progressive, left-leaning and left-voting people: YouTube channel: Traveling Israel. Start with the video titled Free Palestine? It’s the first video he did after October 7 and it’s an epic history lesson in just 30 minutes. Making Sense podcast with Sam Harris: Start with Episode 340: The bright line between good and evil. Eve Barlow’s Substack: She’s written a lot since October 7. Start with the video at the top of the post titled ‘The onus is on you, friends’.

More reviews of It's A Lot with Abbie Chatfield
The podcast itself is okay, however the fb group is filled up with bitching, complaining, and users arguing with each other. The negativity from the page is exhausting, and the self entitled, ignorant individuals commenting are unfortunately naive and damaging to what was initially a podcast...Read full review »

I love Abbie and follow her on all he platforms, although I’m not loving her podcast... Her interviews are great, but her solo eps feel so “thrown together” and almost messy. I still love everything she stands for! She just needs to possibly take onboard the feedback. I’ll still keep listening...Read full review »

I absolutely adore these podcasts and how natural they are. It’s like listening to your best mate and I always feel better and more empowered after - big love from the UK! (Used to live in Perth for the last 3 years and thought you were the best value on bachie)
