Review + question for episode 2, “eyes wide open”!
When I found out this podcast existed, I shrieked in the middle of the staff lunchroom and immediately sent it to my dad. He introduced me to FNL and we are two super fans of the show, all the way from Ontario, Canada - the show has made for incredible bonding time for us, and we still quote it weekly and try not to cry every time the theme song comes on. I love the scene in episode 2 where Coach Taylor takes Matt to the empty stadium, and Matt says that his eyes were wide open when he threw that long pass in episode one. Matt is such an interesting (and my favourite!) character as it seems to me that he’s often tied up in his thoughts and lacking confidence, yet he has rare moments - like in this episode - where his confidence in himself is steady and unwavering. I’m wondering where you think Matt draws this confidence from, and why he felt that he could show his confidence in this moment to declare that his eyes were wide open. Thank you for everything you do; you three are amazing!

I love listening to how shows come together and Scott & Zach’s stories of auditions were great. As a fan of Scott Porter, he is why I started watching but quickly loved FNL! Can’t wait to listen to future episodes!!

Loved hearing the BTS accounts of the guys, but often times Mae...Read full review »
