“Liked the set-up show. Can’t wait for episode analysis. If I may, I believe Mae talked a bit much. No offense, but we’re tuning in to hear the fnl cast reminder.
Now that I’m into episode three, I cannot for the life of me figure out why she is on the show. When I first heard about this podcast, I was beyond excited. I was hoping for talk -amongst the actors who were on the show- to discuss episodes in detail, small town Texas life, community, the music, their personal experiences. Instead I’m hearing interrupting banter -from someone who was not on the show- talking endlessly about her acting past, where she grew up, etc. Who cares? Then, she had the nerve to say she is the greatest fan of the show ever, but gets upset at qb1 when he mentions his character falls in love with julie. She is the biggest fan and she does not know this?! C’mon. I can hear the strain in mr. porters voice as he continually tries to steer the show to its proper direction. Instead it is always veering off into irrelevant, annoying tangents. This podcast should be for those who have watched the entire series several times (not too mention read the book, saw the movie as well as attending concerts by explosions in the sky) to reminisce about its greatness from the very people who created it. Sadly, I must say I can no longer continue listening. Be well.”
