“It's okay–not good, not terrible. It's worth a listen while driving to work, but not engaging enough to be a regular thing. They have some provocative topics and are true Beatle nuts, but it's painfully obvious that they are BAB ("born after break-up") fans because of their lack of familiarity with the cultural context of certain songs and events.
However, I do enjoy many of their insights (especially Dave's), but I find Chris so over-the-top annoying that I can only listen when I'm in a good mood. You could play a drinking game with the number of times he uses the word "interesting" during an episode (usually pronouncing it "innaresting"). But what's worse is how much time they spend laughing at non-funny things. Chris is one of those comedians who thinks he's hilarious just because he's making fun of something. As The Beatles would say, he just "takes the Mickey," but he rarely says anything that's actually clever.
It's a shame, too. This podcast could be very good if they got a little more professional. With just a bit more research and either less laughing or more wit, they would be very listenable.”
