“Huge blazers fan, there’s great content here, BUT ...
Unfortunately, these guys apparently never try to listen to their own podcast, especially not while driving in a car. Because if they ever bothered to, they would immediately realize how embarrassingly amateurish their podcast sounds due to the completely preventable problem of profoundly mismatched gain levels between the voices: one is maxed-out to the point that it occasionally distorts, while the other is whisper-soft and simply cannot be heard —especially while driving — without turning up the volume, guaranteeing blown eardrums when the first guy responds through that overly hot mic. It is so frustrating, I just delete the episodes.
Seriously guys … get your act together.
TRY THIS: while your car and playing podcast through car stereo, play a professionally made podcast like CBS’s Eye on College Basketball, note the levels and clarity of the voices. Then play one of your recent episodes (e.g., the recent one forecasting Lillard’s year), and prepare to be shocked and ashamed.”
