Stilted delivery and colorful imagery
I struggled through about six episodes of the show, and although I’m slightly curious as to what the nature of the conclusion might be, there are too many off-putting elements present. The dialogue is horribly unrealistic, with characters sounding more like poets waxing nostalgic about various topics than scientists observing the world around them. The reverse order of Peter’s logs does nothing to raise tension. Some of the sound design is impressive, the atmospheric music adding in some places, but the static is far too jarring and imbalanced to feel like anything other than an auditory irritant. I commend the ambitious structure and subject material but the delivery fights far too strongly against any sort of investment I might feel.

Love it, great production and even greater voice actors. Hope it continues! Recommended to all my friends and family. Binge listened to it with in two days at work. So mysterious and endearing and super scary. Had me jumping! Haha.
