“I started looking into applying for Western big game hunts a few months back. It’s not necessarily confusing, as many like to say, but it is laborious and incredibly time-consuming.
Podcasts are great for this because you can listen passively and absorb info while driving, working out, w/e. This podcast provides insider knowledge on draw processes, units, and animals that will put you at a major advantage when thinking about drawing/hunt planning.
When a deadline comes up I go and listen to all of the episodes for that state to learn as much as I can. It’s almost unfair how much info you can get. But hey, I’m sure Jay and the outfitter business are benefitting, so all’s well that ends well.
Really enjoy the deep, detailed conversations and Jay’s laid-back but thorough style. Lots of the guests are really good listens, too.”
