In the last 6months Northern Nigeria has recorded 2,557 kidnap cases; Northwest recorded 1,405 kidnap cases, North Central 942, and Northeast 210 kidnap cases. Meanwhile, Southern Nigeria recorded 386 cases. These numbers are made up of school children, women, the Emir of Kajuru amongst others.
