Description
Touted as “the social network of the south,” The Southern Coterie is an online platform for Southerners, and all those with an affinity for the South, to connect and join in conversation. Whether searching for the hottest restaurant opening, finding the perfect spot for a seaside wedding or sharing grandma’s famous pimento cheese recipe, the Southern Coterie is the virtual version of the traditional front porch- a gathering place to learn, share and communicate.    The brainchild of two southern belles, Cheri Leavy and Whitney Long, The Southern Coterie developed out of a mutual love for the South and passion for its tradition and culture. After achieving much success both personally and professionally in former careers with local and national publications, Whitney and Cheri decided to bring their shared interests together and create the Southern Coterie. Their dream was to cultivate a space online where like-minded individuals could connect about all things southern.
