The Jem-lovin' friends I wish I'd had in the 80s
When I was a nine-year-old obsessed with JEM, no one else in my school was, so I'd watch the shows and record the songs with my boombox. Sadly, I did not have anyone to share my enthusiasm. Fast forward to present day, where three very smart, very funny people are basically having the conversations I wanted so badly back then. Each host brings something to the table; when one has to take an episode off, she or he is sorely missed, because the hosts' chemistry is just that great. Rewatching the episodes makes me cringe a lot but then a song I love comes on and I'm a kid again. I can thank this podcast for inspiring me to take a little nostalgia trip. (Also I must have watched the show a zillion times because I know all the dialogue and that is creepy. )
