Used to Love this Show, not so much anymore
Ive been listening to the campfire for years and used to love the show but lately it seems Jim mostly curates stories from paid subscribers - and while there is nothing wrong with that - when I hear the SAME person 3 or 4 times on different episodes talk about their bad dream or “eerie feeling” it starts to get really old. Most of the stories are told in an over-dramatic and theatrical way which right off the bat is a red flag. You’ll notice most of the best stories are told by regular people who aren’t really into the supernatural and are seemingly hesitant to share. Unfortunately, you may only get one of those genuine stories in every episode and the rest of the time it’s people turning a 1 minute “weird experience” into a 15 minute John Carpenter story.

More reviews of Jim Harold's Campfire
This is one of my favorite podcasts. Although I do listen to Jim's other podcast, "The Paranormal Podcast," I do seem to prefer this one due to the involvement from fans. Definitely worth a listen if you're interested in the paranormal.Read full review »

Jim interviews ordinary folk like you and I about their spooky stories, happenings. The best thing about this podcast is the way Jim interviews people and puts them at ease so that they can tell a great campfire story. Best time to listen to this podcast...... well at night of course! Goodstuff

This is a great podcast. I found it by accident and love these stories by real people with wonderful stories. Nothing like this has ever happened to me, but I would love to have any of these experiences.
