Friends for the lonely traveler
I started listening to Join the Party in the fall of 2022. I’m listening to the back log starting with The Wedding Party and have only gotten more invested and intrigued as Johnny, Enara and TR8C dive deeper into the political unrest and curse?? that has upended the concentric states. I really enjoy the breakdown After Party sessions and the beginner episodes. I have been interested in DND for a while now but haven’t played yet! So until I find a party of my own Join The Party can be my friends as I live vicariously through the players and DM. My spouse and I have opposite schedules right now and I have a long commute, so I spend a lot of time alone during the week. They are truly friends for the lone traveler and welcome any and all along the journey.

I love this show! I was so happy that there were beginner’s versions of the first two episodes. D&D has always seemed so intimidating to me. This was an awesome way to get introduced to the game. Also I was SO excited to see LGBT+ representation starting from episode one!!

My first and favorite real play podcast. The players and DM have demystified DnD for me and inspired me to start my own game.
