Ep. 65: Jonathan Dinklage- RUSH and Hamilton Violinist
Listen now
Description
Jonathan Dinklage is a world class violinist and violist who has recorded and toured with some of the biggest and most talented artists of our time- with names like David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga and many more. His dream gig was being invited to tour with RUSH as part of the band's string ensemble for their Clockwork Angels tour. We chat about being the lead violinist on Broadway's HAMILTON and explore the origin story of Jonathan, including being raised in a home that launched Jonathan's and his brother, actor Peter Dinklage's careers. We spend the bulk of our time talking about his time touring with RUSH. Jonny gives us an insight into that tour and working closely with RUSH, like few others can. We had a surprise appearance by Jonathan's sweet little girl at the end of our chat, which topped of our chat wonderfully. A big thank you to Jonathan for sharing his story with me.
