Jessica J. Mencia (she/her/ella) is a PhD student at the University at Buffalo School of Social Work. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a major in Public Policy and double minors in Latinx Studies and Women and Gender Studies. Jessica currently researches abortion accessibility and sexual-risk taking for young women and non-binary youth.
