Thankfully Better at Podcasting Than Pronunciation
Movie Thinks! has become one of my favorite Schmoe shows to listen to. This podcast implements the element I love most about the schmoes’ main show: it’s just regular dudes/chicks who love movies having casual conversation about movies. JTE proves he can kill it both in the engineer’s room and in the hosting chair. With his vast knowledge and viewing history of films, he’s always able to ignite interesting discussion with his guests and he is able to keep the discussion moving to interesting places without it ever dragging, even if you haven’t seen the movie in question. Each guest he chats with (usually SchmoesKnow regulars!) has different views on things and different tastes which adds to the diversity of the show, so it’s not just the same thing every week. Also adding to this, is how the show is structured. I like how its structure doesn’t really have a structure. The randomness and unpredictability of where the discussion will go next keeps it interesting. The show is well-paced. JTE makes sure never to let it drag and he doesn’t overdo it in length with a usual running time of under 30 minutes. Audio quality is good. Great guests. Fun podcast. Hope to see many more in the future. It’s always nice to see new things come along encouraging people to “keep thinking about those movies.” @Platypus_Man

Love this new podcast. I did not know josh was so good at it. I love him in box office, but this is a nice way to get to know him and his guest better. Keep up the good work. ( flaps arms in the air as a solute.)
