“I discovered Judith Lucy when I was about 14 years old on ABC’s Agony Aunts & Uncles and immediately was enchanted by her no nonsense attitude, self deprecation and sarcasm. Now I’m 21 and it’s strange how much I continue to identify with the ethos she puts forth which is so plainly authentic here and am so glad she’s chosen this time to shed a new light on herself that gives so much dynamism to her as a comic. It’s an inspiration to the woman I want to be growing older; painful self awareness that, though is sometimes to a fault, is mixed with this huge capacity for empathy and wit at all the right moments.
