A Fun New Take on Story Time
Anyone with small children (or any Julie Andrews fans, like myself) will want to listen! I listened to this podcast with the two two year olds that I nanny and we all throughly enjoyed it. As anyone with little ones knows they can get stuck on the same books time and time again which is exactly the situation I found myself in. Per the kids requests (tantrums, LOL!) we had been reading the same two books every day for weeks. Julie’s Library was a fun new way to break up our usual afternoon story time routine while introducing us to a new story with a new narrator. It was a nice and easy listening activity that allowed all of us, myself included, to settle in and calm down between having lunch and putting the kids down for their afternoon naps. Bonus, since it’s a podcast there is no guilt or worry about too much screen time etc. for small children. We cannot wait for a new story each week and have listened to this one several times already. I want to say a great big THANK YOU to Julie, Emma and all of the authors who are lending their stories to the podcast. Enjoy!

Story Time introduces new words to children, and includes short interviews with the authors. I was surprised at how...Read full review »
