Better pronunciation of Hindi/Urdu needed
It is really frustrating that the narrator and the other white people who made this podcast did not try to learn to say basic Hindi/Urdu words properly. For example, how hard is it to say begum (pronounced bay-gum not beg-gum)? The minimal effort in pronunciation of Hindi/Urdu words is extremely distracting though, and if your team is going to be making podcasts about brown people, you need to do the work required to be culturally sensitive. If this was a podcast using French words I’m sure the narrator would pronounce them all perfectly. Brown cultures deserve the same respect. With that said, it’s an interesting story and I’m excited to continue to listen. And I do thank you for making a story about a minority culture.

More reviews of Jungle Prince
Incredibly well produced. The narrator has soothing and hyptonizng voice - "...hooptedoodle Sophia Loren". And the background piano music will make you heart melt.Read full review »

Something so fantastical in present day - 2017. I love that their life was revered by others who were displaced. Say it enough, write it down, people believe it. We live that every day. I did find the author somewhat leading in the last episode when talking to the wife of the eldest son.
