The human cost of hundreds of missing cultures
I was profoundly moved. Pausing, replaying and pondering over these three episodes for hours. This podcast is difficult to explain; we are shown a glimpse of human suffering through an unusual window. Descendants of a proud family continue to struggle with displacement. A mother’s fight for legitimacy is remembered and... woven through this narrative is a tale of royalty, diamonds, carpets, parasites, filth, friendship and the sorrow of humanity. We hear just enough of the journalist and just enough of the main characters. It was tedious and brief. I loved it.

This was a wonderful tale, and yet so sad that Mickey died alone. The music was great and so was the narrator.

What a heartbreaking story. I cried when “Cyrus” had passed away, alone. Very beautifully reported and well researched.
