thank you, Junktime!
Three years ago, I immigrated to Australia from the Pacific Island nation of Kiribati. Thanks to generous support from the Australian government and its peoples I quickly obtained employment as a geotechnical engineer in the field of hydroelectricity. Despite its size, Kiribati has a rich history of hydroelectric dam maintenance and construction. Unfortunately though, despite my technical proficiency and impressive fluency in English, I found that I continually struggled to effectively communicate with my colleagues over lunch and around the water cooler. I soon discovered that I had failed to grasp the language of Australian Football. I tossed and turned in my bed every night, struggling to sleep, and I would often eat my salami sandwiches in the toilet cubicles at lunchtime to avoid the inevitable moment where it would be discovered that I knew nothing about the sacred Church of Sherrin. I dreaded the occasion when somebody would ask me for my opinion on things such as Buddy’s bump, Montagna’s mark or Fyfe’s free kick. It became unbearable. Just as I was about to hand in my resignation and return to my family in Kiribati a failure, I discovered this podcast. Now I know everything I need to know about Jack Gunston’s dad, the Adelaide oval footbridge (and future footbridge construction around the country), Travis Cloke’s forays into instagram and Adam Goodes’ controversial career as a telemarketer. Fitting in with mainstream Australian society has become a breeze! Thank you Chambo, Thank you Rozie, Thank you JunkTime AFL!

As funny as Robbo is terrible (very). One of the most consistently hilarious podcasts out there. A weekend of AFL isn't complete without listening to this show after the last game. Sensational stuff.
