“I’ve listen to tons of aviation podcasts. A number of those podcasts are incredibly informative; however they always seem to lack the “fun element“. I have now been hooked on this one for about a year and a half... and (for anyone who suspects bias) that was long before anyone called “MeanDude“ appeared.
This podcast isn’t about any one thing. Instead, it focuses on “the aviation lifestyle”. While you will find training tips, news, and information on the latest gear, you’ll note that they are nested in “a sea of fun stuff” with quality audio, professionally-assembled bumpers, and carefully thought-out content. All of this comes together to create a show that does not cause your narcoleptic tendencies to shine through.
As a bonus, anyone who had at least an hour of flight training in the last three years, has seen an airplane, or just heard one pass overhead can feel comfortable to “constructively harass” the host (Greg - your copilot) via email or recorded message from the JPR website with the hopes of pushing him back into the left seat to complete his flight training!”
