S1-E7 | Gyanada Rasyara | Psychology | Psychologist at Cathena Education and Amicus Therapia
Description
To raise awareness about September being the Sucide prevention Month, and World Mental Health day coming up on October 10, we thought we’d invite someone who has been working in the mental health industry for the past year. Currently a clinical psychologist at Cathena Education and her own company Amicus Therapia, Gyanada has helped many in need. In this episode, we discuss with her the process of thinking from the other side of the room. We talk to her about what she thinks are some things that people can do and be when things don’t go their way. Everyone’s life is a twist, and we all have mixed emotions throughout a day. One moment we are happy, and the very next, without knowing what happened, we are going down a spiral of self doubt. Listen in as Gyanada talks about what we should do to control our emotions. We talk about self help, getting diagnosed with a mental health disorder, talking to friends about problems, and much more. We, at Kadam, are big advocates for therapy because oftentimes, those in therapy have to be there because those that should be are not.
