“I find myself continually conflicted about this podcast. I love their reviews on the Kardashians as they are objective and honest. What I have not been able to get past is the way Marcy speaks about Taylor Swift. She will always, always, always, forgive anything awful Kanye says or does doing mental gymnastics to justify it. But will say that Taylor is “awful” and shady and calculated. It’s all down to internalized sexism and bias. Which is disappointing considering how they both seem to try to be better than that. It’s so catty and makes both of them incredibly unlikeable. You don’t get to preach women empowerment while also dragging other women down. Also growing up is realizing that no one is one thing. And basing your whole view on someone because of preconceived prejudice or bias is a sign that you have not grown at all. All in all I am often so disappointed in this podcast. Because I expect better and it just doesn’t deliver.”
