The Greatest Commandment
Listen now
Description
Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our weekly theme, "At the Cross," and we talked about the greatest commandment. According to the Talmud, there are 613 commandments in the Torah alone. But there were two that Jesus identified as the most important. Our Scripture reference this morning was Matthew 22:34-40. Jesus told the pharisees that the greatest commandments are to love God, and love our neighbors. Who are our neighbors, and how well are we loving them today? We featured a resource by Dr. Michael Rydelnik, "They Called Me Christ Killer." This booklet is an attempt to bring understanding to both Jewish and Christian communities about anti-semitism.
