Apocalypse now? Climate violence and sacrifice in and for the Caribbean by Dr Leon-Sealey Huggins (YPCCS and Global Sustainable Development, University of Warwick) The lecture will be delivered by Dr Leon Sealey-Huggins who will provide a challenging look at the social and political relations of climate change, with a particular focus on the Caribbean region. Dr Sealey-Huggins is at the forefront of exploring the societal implications of climate change, and his engagement with communities in the Caribbean resonates closely with David Nicholls’ concerns about social justice in the context of global historical, and present, inequalities.
