I know, we've been remiss in creating new episodes. Between sickness, travel, and not one but TWO storms, bad food hasn't been a priority. While Hurricane Florence raged outside, we took the chance on having power long enough to eat some REALLY s****y foods. Since we had two freezer accidents in the prior 48 hours we had to eat a bunch of things that were on the very edge of completely defrosted. Ho boy, do we have some stuff this time around. Aside from the beer, ciders, and icevine, there are new Oreo flavors, Plantain Chips, something called a "Detroit Pizza," and carrot chips.  You read that right : Carrot Chips. The time has come, oh listeners, to take care of the large carb and protein load that has been building in our food selection. Yes, it is time to eat multiple boxed pasta products (mostly mac and cheese), the one bag of pork rinds we have, and a box of pink gummy pigs (I am not making this up) that have been waiting for us since AnthroCon. We also have a whiskey sour mix, beer, questionable life choices, and at least one brownie this week when We Eat It, So You Don't Have To!

We're at Anthrocon! But we took some time last weekend with Lis and Natalie eating terrible foods just for you. We had some amazing fresh food, and followed it with terrible chips. For whatever reason, we keep doing this. This week, we have a box of chips from Australia, gummy bears to soak in rum, and an instant Mac & Cheese.  We also have a pile of supermarket cheeses to try, and see if they hold to the label of "sharp cheddar." We went out and got baby chickens today! Ursula, Liz, and I are back from all our various travels, and so that means it is time to eat cheap! This week we continue to taste test what it apparently the big thing for 2018 - Rose Ciders! This week, the triumphant return of LizardBeth! Well, ok, maybe not so triumphant, as we have this pile of food to eat. Cookie Butter, Nut and Seed-less Peanut Butter Substitute, Limited Edition Chicken nuggets, and chocolate hummus to name but a few. Between that and the cornbread (made with eggs fresh from the chickens!) there is a definite Southern theme going on.
