An excellent historical survey of the military history of the United States.
The host and his guests do a really good job of providing a fair and balanced expose on the topic of the day. It is also useful as an educational tool for my younger children, who lost the direct connection with those who fought in WW2.

Well-researched and entertaining podcast. They don’t get lost in the weeds, but they provide a lot of detail despite the relatively short length of the episodes. This podcast is perfect as a primer/refresher. I highly recommend it. James and Scott are great.

Did he seriously say Chester Nimitz had a huge ego? I’ve overlooked quite a few inaccurate comments, but this is just ridiculous. Admiral Nimitz was famously genteel and humble. The admiral who had a famous ego was King, and he was the one who butted heads with MacArthur. That’s just awful. ...Read full review »
