Have you heard of Math day? We celebrated this in our school last week. The teachers had organised a lot of fun games, quizzes and activities and we had so much fun taking part in them. Math is very important in our day to day lives and in any career we choose. In my first segment, I will share some interesting facts about Math including the origin of the word hundred and that it actually means 120 and not 100! New York City has declared a holiday for Diwali starting 2024. The Mayor Eric Adams said that this will help children and adults understand the importance of lighting the light within ourselves. Diwali has a mythological story behind it but in recent times, people are also celebrating it for the positivity that is a part of the festival.
