“They say “but um…” so much you could turn it into a drinking game, and they’re always losing their train of thought. The audio also peaks and is often distorted from them yelling into/being too close to their mics. You can always hear their saliva. There’s often long pauses and a lot of stuff they could have edited out that would make it easier to get through. They speak slowly and without much cadence. They ramble about things that have no relevance to the story and it makes the actual story hard to follow. Bad story tellers in general. Hoping it gets better as I get to the newer episodes and will update my review if it does, but if you’re starting from the beginning…be warned.
Update: I listened to some of the newest episodes to see if it was even worth continuing to listen and they still constantly start rambling about stuff in the middle of telling the story and the important facts really get lost. As a broadcaster and a true crime fan - this podcast is just not for me.”
