Loving your perspectives.
Hello, My name is Kiyana Williams. I am an Afrikan American (Black). I found your podcast while I was looking for something to listen to in Kiswahili. I am hoping to learn your language, if you don’t mind. 🙏🏾 I am interred in learning Kiswahili because I think the language is beautiful and wholesome feeling when I hear it. It feels/sounds like Nature when it’s spoken. There are a lot of languages that embody Life and Nature and Kiswahili is one of them. I would also love to learn about the Swahili culture and life. At the moment English is the only language that I speak. THAT IS CHANGING!!! The two episodes that are in English I could listen to and fully understand… of course. Those two episodes speak to me so deeply. Especially the one on religion. 😫😫😫 I will go back to your other episodes and translate them, but I still listen in order to tune myself to Kiswahili. Your episode on politics touches my heart as well! The same religion and political structure operate as twins for the same reason; oppress and replace. Regarding your episode on religion… I wonder how we got here as well. The spell that has so many of our people blind to who they are and loving this parasitic oppressor is really wild! We deal with that exact same thing here in the US. Isn’t it interesting that our people have been pushed under the heal of various types of oppression no matter where we are in this realm and more than any other group/race. I end up asking… why??? What is it about us that makes them need to subdue and erase us in order to exist and survive…? 🤔🤔🤔 Notice that they treat ALL of Nature in this way! They work to subdue and undo!!! I am an Audio/Video Producer/Editor in California, US. I create, edit, and publish podcasts mostly. Sound is a frequency that resonates with me greatly and deeply! I am moved by your podcast and will continue to listen. Thank you for sharing your mind, heart, and soul’s concerns and desire for improvement! I am with you!!! 🙏🏾🤎🙏🏾
