“I’ve streamed KNBR from the website as I no longer live in the area, but the number of ads is ridiculous, so I’ve gone exclusively to podcast replay segments on the various shows. They will literally broadcast a full slate of commercials, updates and whatnot, then the hosts will talk about upcoming guests or something for a couple minutes, then another five minutes of ads. Also, if the feed drops, even if for only a couple seconds you get the same Tim Ryan (or whomever when it changes out after weeks) 60 seconds promo before the feed comes back on. It’s too much and an insult to our collective patience, so I don’t bother any more and advise every “ex-pat” I know to skip the station live altogether, as well.”
