“The hosts are fine and have enough energy at least. Their knowledge isn’t bad but I’m listening for the first time and it’s their Best of 2023 show. The thing is, all the movies played in theaters or were on Shudder or Netflix They don’t seem to dig any deeper than that. There is so much more in the indie horror scene which doesn’t seem to get discussed. For being associated with a website I’m surprised at this.
Try out Exploding Heads Horror Podcast or 22 Shots of Moodz and Horror if you want to hear hosts who actually watch a lot of horror movies and go a little bit deeper with their fandom and dedication to putting together lists.”
