It’s Jan 17th and the podcast Ep of the year already dropped
I’m a recently listener and liked the podcast quite a bit. But with the latest episode on Norman Podhoretz, this show has immediately vaulted into my top 5 must listens. Absolutely fascinating and absorbing stuff. They manage to combine astute historical analysis with incisive present day insight. So so good. Side note: the hosts should do a general New York intellectual life in the 20th century podcast with David Klion. They could explore every tangent they raised on this latest episode. Would be epic.

This is a subject I have been interested in for a while and this is one of the most thorough and enlightening examination.

Great podcast except for number 11 which was neither edifying nor interesting. It would really be interesting for you to take on the lessons taught by the Counter Revolutionary pundit Joseph de Maistre and his similar but far less controversial contemporary, Edmund Burke.

This is an excellent look at the conservative movement from multiple angles. The hosts research extensively and their citations are great to take for reading recommendations.
