Newton that tells the incredible true story of a wild caper of Newton escaping from the FBI to Cuba with the assistance of famed producer Bert Schneider in an impossibly elaborate plan – involving a fake movie production -- that goes wrong every way it possibly can. The actors discuss how the series tells a story of the Black Panthers that is seldom seen with a focus on not just the racial revolution, but also the many programs that Newton and the group started, including free school breakfast for kids.
