Thought-provoking!
I thought I had a good handle on Puerto Rican history and this podcast showed me there’s always more to learn... and many sides to the stories. Wonderfully produced, I’m very happy to see this level of research and investigative journalism invested in the Puerto Rican experience. I LOVE that it is bilingual, the recognition that Puerto Ricans “en la diáspora” may not always speak Spanish, but they are vey much interested in the island’s past and its future, is a key nuance for the millions of Puerto Ricans living in the mainland.

Me gustaría q mas personas en la isla supieran de esta joya de show. Excepcional. No se q van a hacer en season 3 pqe season 2 fue un absoluto home run. Bravo!!

“La brega” and its many inflections (bregando, brega eso, bregándonos), despite what the reviewer claims below, are quite common. This podcast presents a comprehensive and sensitively researched portrait of the Puerto Rican experience in the archipelago and the diaspora.
