Well, it's not peer reviewed or accepted as an official term in psychology, but we're not psychologists or accepted in certain circles either so we consider ourselves the perfect people to discuss it. If you think we're about to talk to you about the loud tool that sometimes helps you get stuff off the floor, you're kind of right. Hoovering is the process by which people in your life can suck you back into unhealthy patterns, regardless of how hard you try to establish and hold boundaries.
