More Mixed Feelings
My impression is that Ingrid has sought to widen the scope of her YouTube videos and share some of her interests that she seems to be learning more about (feminism, lgbt issues). I wasn’t sure what this podcast would focus on but have listened to the second episode and understand it is more of the same. I think some of her YouTube videos on this issues have been thoughtful, but that she sometimes lacks the knowledge base and self-awareness to speak on these topics or facilitate a discussion without it becoming judgmental and reductive. Why not more fully consider other arguments/POV or other language, not just what is most popular now or the arguments you have most recently educated yourself on? I think the videos/podcasts on these issues could also be enhanced by not only how you have always questioned things but also how you have not and how that’s been reflected in the content you’ve created in the past. I still appreciate Ingrid’s videos but am not sure if I’m up for another podcast.
